Let’s Keep Judge Mario Perez

AN EXPERIENCED JUDGE FOR ALL

Judge Perez received 80% of the votes cast by fellow Pitt County attorneys on February 15, 2018 before being appointed by the Governor.

I was appointed by the Governor to serve as District Court Judge because of my significant legal experience, the overwhelming support of my fellow Pitt County attorneys, and my reputation for being a hard-working attorney. I want to continue to serve Pitt County as your District Court Judge, and I would appreciate your vote and your support.

On March 18, 2018 Judge Mario E. Perez was sworn in as District Court Judge.

I spent 34 years as an attorney working and preparing for this moment. It is the pinnacle moment of my career. I am now campaigning to keep this job, which is for me a calling to serve. For those of you who do not know me, I welcome you to visit my courtroom. I know this seat does not belong to me but to the people of Pitt County. I am working hard every day to earn your respect and support.

Vote to keep Judge Mario Perez on November 6th!

EARLY VOTING IS UNDERWAY

My campaign started in earnest in January 2017 when I sought the appointment to the Pitt County District Court. But in reality it started 34 years ago when I graduated from Georgetown University Law Center. It took a long time to get here. I took no shortcuts. And now I am asking the voters of Pitt County to keep me as their judge. I find myself in a very difficult contest. A good friend reminds me to enjoy my time on the bench. And I have. I strive to be the judge that I wanted my clients to have when I practiced law: considerate, engaging, and fair to all parties. And whatever the outcome might be on November 6, I have no regrets. In the meantime, I will continue to work hard on the bench and in my campaign. I encourage everyone to vote. And I ask everyone for their vote during this election cycle. Thank you.
